Dr. Lori Zoellner

Lori A. Zoellner, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Washington and Director of the University of Washington Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress (UWCATS). Both her research and her clinical experience focus on the prevention and treatment of chronic posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), with particular expertise in the area of information processing. She is well recognized in the field of traumatic stress studies, including having served on the Board of Director of the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies.

Dr. Zoellner is our expert partner and adviser in developing psychotherapy materials and train Islamic lay trauma healing counselors.

Dr. Belinda Graham

Belinda Graham is Postdoctoral Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Washington, Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress. She is interested in the implications of memory processes in the development, maintenance and treatment of PTSD. In particular, autobiographical memory structure and recall. It is her intention to contribute to nuanced interventions in clinical settings, investigating what is most effective at particular times and for particular people. Dr. Graham is also interested in applying our understanding of memory processes and treatment in PTSD to other contexts, outside the clinic.

Dr. Norah Feeney

Dr. Norah Feeny is a professor of psychology at Case Western Reserve Univeristy in Ohio. Her laboratory focuses on the development and evaluation of cognitive behavioral treatments for anxiety and mood disorders. Much of her work is focused in the area of PTSD specifically where she has ongoing research evaluating treatments for PTSD, understanding what predicts who will benefit from such treatments, which treatments people prefer, and finding ways to recognize pediatric posttraumatic stress disorder

Dr Ahmed Nur

Dr. Sheikh Ahmed Nuur is an Islamic scholar and community leader in the State of Washington. He reaches out to youth and families and service them in an important capacity in faith, counseling, and mentorship. His leadership has benefited our community on many levels and he is widely praised for his representation of a younger leadership in Da’wah and community affairs. He devotes his energy in community dynamics of awareness, education and community mobility. He advocates for community connectivity at higher levels of leadership and service.
